What to Bring: AWS Educate account, laptop charger, and GitHub access

Build and deploy an event-driven API using Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB with a live deployment walkthrough.

Cloud Careers Industry Panel

Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2026

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Union South, Varsity Hall (2nd Floor)

Check-In: 6:30 PM near Varsity Hall entrance

Format: 45-minute panel + 30-minute networking + resume feedback table

Engineers and alumni share hiring insights, internship strategies, and role expectations for cloud-focused roles.

Competition

CloudHack 2026

Date: April 11-12, 2026

Time: 24-hour build challenge

Location: Engineering Hall, Room 1800 (Opening/Finals), Rooms 1721 and 1610 (Build Rooms)

Mandatory Check-In: Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 8:15 AM in Engineering Hall Lobby

Team Details: 2-5 students per team, mentors on-site overnight

Build an end-to-end cloud product with mentorship, prizes, and final demos to judges with structured checkpoint reviews.
